PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Johnstown is accepting sealed bids for the resurfacing of certain city streets and construction ADA sidewalk ramps. Specifications and Bid Forms will be available by Monday, July 22nd on the city’s website cityofjohnstown.ny.gov, the City Clerk’s Office located at 33-41 E. Main St., Johnstown, NY 12095 or the City Engineer ([email protected]). Bids should either be marked “2024 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT” or “ADA SIDEWALK RAMPS” on the outside of the envelope. Bids must be received intact, and receipt obtained from the City Clerk, or by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested to Johnstown City Clerk, P.O. Box 160, 33-41 East Main Street, Johnstown, New York 12095 by 11:00 a.m. on the 13th day of August 2024 at which time bids will be opened in the Conference Room, 2nd Floor of City Hall. Attention of bidders, if awarded the Contract includes acceptance of an immunity waiver as required by Sections 103-A and 103-B of the General Municipal Law of New York State. The City of Johnstown reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids.
